Identify The Driver

If you weren’t the driver of the vehicle at the time of the offence it still falls to you as the registered keeper of the vehicle to inform the Police Central Ticket Office of the details of the person who was driving the car.

If the person accepts that they were the driver of the vehicle, either a Conditional Offer detailing the standard £60 fine and three penalty points or an offer to attend a speed awareness workshop will be sent to them.

If however the person denies responsibility, the form will be returned to you. As the registered keeper of the vehicle you will be held responsible unless you can identify the driver.
