The article outlines the government’s decision to introduce a bill banning the use of safety camera detectors by the public. The Road Safety Bill is expected to become law in April and will ban technologies that can detect if a camera or speed gun is in use. However, systems that use GPS technology to the position of speed traps and mobile enforcement units will not be affected.
